Landscape Design

Our landscape design staff believes that new development can be compatible with nature if designed using a sustainable and organized approach. Mayo Corporation landscape designers offer holistic client based site development services that save money and are well supported by neighbors and local government. We excel in small single building sites as well as large complex corporate, commercial, or public projects. There are two important issues that must be addressed on each site: the needs of the client or community, and the opportunities and constraints of the site. Our designers participate in and lead teams that determine how best to orient buildings, preserve views and protect natural systems while creating attractive livable outdoor places.

Our staff works with our Civil Engineers to analyze storm water, topographic and regulatory issues to create buildable sites that protect natural resources and have curb appeal that adds to client pride and community health. With support from Mayo Corporation Land Surveyors we then prepare concept plans, General Development Plans, and other exhibits for presentation to Plan Commissions, Park Boards and neighborhood groups. All of these efforts work together to accomplish the goal of building consensus and support for private development and public park projects.
